BlueCross BlueShield offers a number of different dental plans in Nebraska. You will need to look at the details of your unique policy to find out what it covers. In the meantime, we can give you a basic overview of what you might expect from your benefits:

• Preventive care, including the exams and cleanings you regularly receive from your general dentist, is usually 100% covered.
• Minor restorative care, including fillings and a few types of oral surgery, may be 80% covered after a 6-month waiting period.
• Major restorative care, including many of the services available in our practice, is often 50% covered. Your plan may apply to these procedures after a 12-month waiting period.

As an in-network BlueCross BlueShield practice, we are eager to help you get the most out of your coverage. For example, since we have a contract with the insurance company that controls prices, you can expect to get more value from your annual maximum. (Your annual maximum is the greatest dollar amount that BlueCross BlueShield will pay out for approved services within a calendar year.)

We may also be able to schedule major services across multiple appointments between calendar years, so you can utilize two annual maximums rather than just one.
