Meet Dr. Killeen

Dr. Amy C. Killeen was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri.  She graduated from Saint Louis University with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a certificate in art history.  Dr. Killeen obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Dentistry in Lincoln NE.  After spending one year in private practice and public health, Dr. Killeen returned to school to begin a three-year residency and Master’s degree program specializing in periodontics and implant surgery.  Since her graduation, Dr. Killeen has been busy in private practice, teaching as an associate professor at the UNMC College of Dentistry and acting as staff periodontist for the veterans at the VA hospital in Omaha.  Dr. Killeen is excited to continue quality periodontal care and to bring advanced implant surgical techniques to an already established and reputable practice.

Aside from practicing and teaching, Dr. Killeen stays busy with her family.  She and her husband, Marty, have three young boys and a daughter, Peter, Patrick, Liam and Lucy, all of whom love to play outside and to bring home “special pets.”  As a family, they enjoy travelling, camping, and riding their bikes throughout town.  On her own, Dr. Killeen enjoys her early morning daily runs, cooking Thai food, and reading an ever-increasing list of novels.
